When trying to log into resources with Shibboleth, you may be presented with “Bangor” AND “Bangor Development” under the list of institutions. You need to select “Bangor”.

New Resource: Migration to New Worlds

We have added a new resource: Migration to New Worlds to the Bangor online catalogue.

Collection materials include unique primary source material on the ‘Century of Immigration’ (1800-1924) including unique diaries, personal letters, oral histories journals and images.

Improvements to the Reaxys “Search” function

Reaxys have scheduled some search improvements for July 2016. These changes will include:

Reaxys’ interface being streamlined to provide quicker entry points to the data

Greater data accessibility: intelligent keyword and text search capabilities will enable immediate access to chemical facts within the literature
   
Increased literature content: relevant full-text facts extracted from all >16k journals

Asian patents: procedures and facts will be added from China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan

Between July and December 2016 you will have access to the current version of Reaxys and the new version to ensure a smooth migration.
