The following training sessions are being advertised by the Library and Archives Service for all Postgraduate Students.  To book a place on any of the following please email libsupport@bangor.ac.uk  giving you name and School and indicating which sessions you would like to attend,

Finding and Managing Information
·         Searching techniques, using electronic databases, advanced searching, systematic reviews, intelligent web searching
·         Critical evaluation
·         Keeping up to date with new research – current awareness, saving and repeating search strategies
·         Demo of Refworks (create new folders of references, add references manually and automatically from the library catalogue and from Databases such as Web of Sciences, add citations in MS Word to build a bibliography automatically with many options of different format styles such as Harvard, APA and particular journal’s styles) and discussion on other referencing tools
