Open Access Publishing Event 22nd-26th April

The Finch Report, issued in 2012, launched a move to Open Access in scholarly publishing. RCUK have made it a condition of funding that research outputs will be made publicly available, and HEFCE are consulting on plans for outputs for REF2020 to be Open Access.

The Research and Enterprise Office (REO) and the Library and Archives Services are working together to develop University policies and systems of support for open access publishing at Bangor.

We would like to invite you to an Open Access week: Three lunch time sessions (light lunch provided) will offer an introduction to open access and recent developments, and an opportunity to hear about University policies and support systems currently in development for Open Access.

Please bring your questions and discuss with us the support you need to make your research outputs open access.
